Everyone, I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving.

I apologize, but I can’t help myself. In case you missed it, despite trailing by 9 points with 2:12 remaining in the game (and 1 timeout), N.C. State beat the University of North Carolina by 4 points in a dramatic football game Friday night (televised nationally on ESPN). During 2021, 451 college football teams trailed by 9 with 2:30 or less remaining in a game. None had won (until Friday night). Go Wolfpack!

Scouting For Food

Posted on Nov 8 2021 - 8:36pm

Hello Scouts and Parents!

This coming Tuesday, November 9th, we will be doing the first half of Scouting for Food. We really need all scouts to be there to make this go as quickly as possible. We will be meeting at 7:00 PM at Mr. Mike Gleasman's house at 4510 Cub Run Road, Chantilly, VA. (His phone number is 703-863-3307). We will be dropping off the Scouting for Food notices to all houses in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood, as well as the townhouse neighborhood that is located behind the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. We will need several adults to walk with the groups of scouts as they place the notices on the houses. Afterwards, we will enjoy hot cocoa and cookies by the fire (provided by the Troop). Please bring flashlights (cell phones do not count) as it gets dark early and wear warm, bright clothes over your uniform.
